My name's Tony MacDonald. I'm the managing director of our Artera Interactive. We're a 3D animation studio in Surry Hills, Sydney. We've been operating since 2000, so we're quite well known in the industry now. Over the last sort of five to seven years, we've adopted cloud based systems, including G Suite. But, look, I guess we needed a lot of help in that area in terms of the security, some of the new features that came out, such as team drive. So this is where we engaged itGenius for support. And then we've just found having that support, that daily support where we can contact somebody without bringing in an IT company as such. It's been fantastic from that perspective.
Being integrated into Google and G suite products, I needed that expertise where I could get more information about new products. For example, Jamboard was one product that we looked at because we needed touchscreen in the office to mark up our animations live on screen, and also to collaborate. So Jamboard's a good example where we've gone down that path and we're literally are looking at ordering a Jamboard for the office.
I've found the significant changes have occurred. There's more stability and security, and just being more streamlined. So using user groups with different levels of access through Team Drive, accessing different folder structures, having certain staff access different information. So I feel like the data and the documents we have stored now, they are secure and I can sleep at night now. And I know that some people aren't accessing the wrong files.
I would recommend itGenius to people that actually haven't used G suite before, because I've made a lot of people that are really struggling to actually get a Gmail account up and running. Or they don't know how to use My Drive. Yeah. itGenius would just set that up from the beginning with little fuss and little hassle.
